Hey guys
Looking forward to my next brew and keen to work on the Bridge road pale…im gonna get this one day lol.
Reading back through the old thread they mention the use of “whirlpool additions and dry hopping” rather than boil additions.

Now most of my recipes use the Coopers pale as a base and 1-1.5kg LDM or a Light malt extract can and the 1-1.5kg ldm…

If im making a brew using these products…how do i create “whirlpool additions”

Is it get 5ltrs water to the boil, add 500g LDM and disolve, then turn off heat and the add hops
is it that simple…or am i completley off with the fairies on this one

Hey Rep

That'll do it. You could get away without the malt by just steeping the hops in your boiling water, but there's no harm in your method. In fact the result could be smoother when steeped in wort.
