Just made up the following as I hadn't used this can before and to use up some loose bits hanging around

1.7kg Bootmaker pale ale can
1.5kg Coopers light LME
500g light dry malt
11g centennial 10 min boil
30g centennial dry hop day 10
Mangrove Jacks American Ale yeast
24L
OG 1.048

What's the verdict on the bootmaker can any good?

'Bloody' good. I only ever did one and hopped it up with around 100g Nelson. It was terrific.

Well i did a cleanout of the cupboard today and made a bootmakers as well.
Bootmakers can
I box be2
500 gm ldme
250gm medium crystal
250gm carapils
20gm centennial and 10gm cascade @10mins
Repeated at flame out steep for 5 mins
Mj workhorse yeast. Made a 2.5l starter 10 days ago. Crash chilled and decanted.
1.050 sg
Pitched at 18. Brewing at 18. Its off and running 4 hours later.
Debating whether to dry hop with more centennial or not.
Did this can 1 other time. Found it a nice can but needed beefing up. So was perfect for a fridge/cupboard clean out kit. Shame i didnt have more ldme rather than be2. But it needed using so i did.
Will share results

About 800 of LLME (shared the can with another brew)
20g Galaxy, (Steeped in boiled water for 20 min then chucked in)

Turned out ok. Couldn't have been that bad cos ive drinked it all.

Bolchy, have a read of the dry hopping thread that is bumping around at the moment. Some reference to good articles on hop aroma and techniques to maximise the hop punch we want in our APAs.

I'd be dry hopping that brew if it were mine. But then I dry hop all of my pale ales these days. I actually have a can of this that I bought on spesh at Woolies that I will put down in a few brews time
