Coopers Bay Sheffield Carnival

In 1887, H.Quinn became the first Bay Sheffield winner. In the 127 years since then, thousands have sought the honour of being called a Bay Sheffield winner.

The Bay Sheffield Carnival is a 20 race athletics carnival, held on 27 and 28 December every year. The first Bay Sheffield was held to commemorate 50 years of the proclamation of South Australia.

The 2013 carnival has attracted 878 race nominations and over a third of these are from interstate.

You will be able to enjoy an ice cold Coopers in the Coopers Marquis all while enjoying the carnival on a giant video screen which will also be televising the Boxing Day cricket.

It is a fantastic 2 days of family entertainment.
