Industry Award Wins for Coopers!

Coopers social media presence in the beer sector has been formally recognised by the Australian Drinks Industry.

Coopers was named the Overall Winner for the Best Presence in Social Media Beer, as well as Best Presence in Social Media Domestic Beer at the Australian Drinks Awards in Sydney last night.

Coopers Dark Ale also won the Best Ad Campaign for Craft Beer at the awards, held at “The Star” Event Centre in Sydney.

The awards, which were introduced in 2013, recognise the manufacturing, supply, distribution and brand sectors of the Australian liquor industry.

Coopers’ Sales and Marketing Director, Mr Cam Pearce, said the awards were pleasing and acknowledged Coopers work in the social media field, as well as its expertise in the Craft brewing market.

“The award recognises the success of our “After Dark” campaign, which involved one of Australia’s hottest bands, British India and was used to promote Dark Ale during the winter months,” he said.

“The promotion involved a series of ticket only gigs, with customers who purchased glasses, stubbies, six packs or cartons of Dark Ale eligible to win tickets.  It was a very successful campaign.”
