Coopers Expands Good Food Month Sponsorship

Coopers Brewery has expanded its sponsorship involvement with Australia’s premier food festival Good Food Month (formerly Sydney International Food Festival).

Now in its sixth year as official beer partner for the Sydney event, the Australian family-owned brewer will extend its involvement into Melbourne, which will also run a series of events for the first time in 2013.

Good Food Month, presented by Citi, is an exciting program of food and drink events featuring the best chefs, restaurants, wine experts and food producers.

The festival, a Fairfax initiative, will be held in Sydney during October and Melbourne in November.

Coopers will be served exclusively at signature events, such as:

  • Night Noodle Markets – the iconic Coopers Beer Garden returns to the popular Asian-style event. The garden, a visually-striking hub showcasing a range of freshly-grown ingredients, allows festival-goers to engage with natural produce in an urban setting whilst enjoying an ice cold Coopers. The Coopers Ale range has no additives or preservatives, which complements both the fresh ingredients growing within the beer garden and food on offer at the markets.
  • Let’s Do Lunch series – foodies and beer lovers can dine in a variety of Good Food Guide listed restaurants, which includes a tasty lunch and a Coopers beer.
  • Pub Grub and Pale – a Coopers promotion running across Sydney and Melbourne during the festivals. For $25, people will be treated to a gourmet dish served with a Coopers Original Pale Ale.

As part of the Pub Grub and Pale promotion, people have the chance to win a Coopers VIP Brewery experience by simply voting for their favourite pub grub via a free app, which is available for download from the iTunes store or Google Play

“Good Food Month is every culinary and beer lover’s dream,” he said.

“We are very pleased to be part of this exciting and tasty program of events.”
